FAQ — commonly asked
Frequently asked questions
Can I apply to more than one university at once?
Yes, and you should — multiple faculties, multiple exams, multiple chances in a single admissions cycle. Applying to 3–5 universities is standard and dramatically improves your odds.
What if I do not have Physics in my school certificate?
Not a problem at most universities — Biology and Chemistry are the core requirements. A few Czech faculties test Physics and we prepare you for it from scratch if needed.
How competitive is 1st year entry?
Far less competitive than UK or US medicine. Most of our partners admit on entrance exam performance rather than a ranking of thousands of applicants. Prepared students routinely pass.
Can I still apply if my grades are average?
Yes — exam performance matters more than school grades at most partners. Our free consultation gives you an honest assessment of your realistic options.
When should I start preparing?
6–9 months before your target exam is ideal. Contact us as soon as you know your target intake year — we build your timeline backwards.
Do I need an IELTS or TOEFL?
Some faculties require it (typically 5.5–6.5 IELTS); others waive it if your school certificate is in English or you interview well. We check your specific target's requirement.
Are gap year students disadvantaged?
No — many students take a gap year for preparation and it does not affect admission at our partners.
Can I apply for Medicine and Dentistry at the same faculty?
Some faculties allow this with separate applications; others require you to choose. We advise on strategy per university.
What happens if I fail the entrance exam?
Multiple options: sit it at another faculty with a later deadline (Bulgaria has September sittings), apply to file-based partners, or use the year for structured Foundation preparation and re-apply stronger next cycle.
