1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the BecomeADoctor.eu website and/or engaging our placement services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BecomeADoctor UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered in Cologne, Germany.

2. Our Service

BecomeADoctor.eu provides a free university placement service for students seeking to study medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and other health sciences programmes at universities in Europe and globally.

Our service includes:

• Free initial assessment and university recommendations
• Application preparation and submission assistance
• Document translation and certification coordination
• Entrance examination preparation materials
• Interview coaching and preparation
• Student Application Portal access
• Visa guidance and arrival support
• Ongoing student support throughout studies

We act as an intermediary between students and universities. We are not a university, do not grant academic qualifications, and do not make admissions decisions.

3. Our Fees

Our placement service is free to students. We receive a placement commission from the university when a student successfully enrols and pays their first semester's tuition fee.

This fee arrangement means:

• You never pay BecomeADoctor.eu any fee for our services
• Our commission does not increase the tuition fee you pay to the university
• Our commercial interests are aligned with yours — we only earn when you successfully enrol
• We have no incentive to place you in a university that is not the right fit for your profile

The tuition fees charged by universities are set by the universities themselves and are independent of our commission arrangements.

4. Your Obligations

When using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete and truthful information about your qualifications, grades and personal circumstances
• Not misrepresent your academic qualifications or personal statement to any university
• Provide genuine documents — any falsification of documents is grounds for immediate termination of our service and may result in legal consequences
• Respond to requests for information or documents within reasonable timeframes
• Inform us of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your application
• Engage with our advisors honestly and professionally

5. University Admissions Decisions

All admissions decisions are made exclusively by the universities. BecomeADoctor.eu does not guarantee admission to any university, programme or academic year.

We provide our best professional guidance on your most suitable university options based on your profile, but we cannot guarantee:

• That any specific university will offer you a place
• That you will pass any entrance examination
• That tuition fees or entry requirements will not change
• That a university will maintain its recognition status

If you are declined by a university, we will work with you to explore alternative options at no additional charge.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the BecomeADoctor.eu website — including text, design, logos, images, guides and examination materials — is owned by BecomeADoctor UG or licensed for our use. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

Free guides and resources we provide to students are for personal use only and may not be redistributed commercially.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by German law, BecomeADoctor UG shall not be liable for:

• Any admissions decision made by a university
• Changes to university programmes, fees or recognition status after the time of advice
• Immigration or visa decisions made by government authorities
• Academic performance during studies
• Indirect, consequential or special damages arising from the use of our service

Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed €500.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cologne, Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email if you have an active application with us, or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
