Pharmacy (MPharm) is the quietly brilliant route into healthcare: a 5-year English-taught degree with lower entry competition than medicine, EU-wide recognition, and a global shortage of pharmacists waiting on the other side. Charles University's Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové — the first in Czechia to teach pharmacy in English — even keeps its own medicinal garden. Entry is Biology & Chemistry; several of our students later transfer into medicine with advanced standing, using pharmacy as a strategic first step.
