Already studying medicine but in the wrong place? Transferring is normal, legal and common. Here is exactly how it works.
Most of our partners do, including Charles University (into years 2–4), Semmelweis, most Romanian and Polish faculties. Availability varies by year and seat capacity.
Often you enter one year below your current level — for example, if you finish year 2 elsewhere, you may enter year 2 of the new university. Occasionally you keep your year. It depends on syllabus overlap.
Yes — universities like UMF Cluj and Semmelweis routinely accept transfers from Ukrainian, Russian, Georgian, Armenian and Central Asian medical schools. Recognition of specific credits varies.

Yes — from your current university, confirming you are in good academic standing without disciplinary issues. This is a standard document universities issue on request.
Case by case — a few failed exams do not necessarily block transfer, but the target university will see them and factor them into their decision.
Tuition is per year at the new university — Bulgaria/Romania around €7,000/yr, Czech faculties €12,000+/yr. Our transfer handling is free.
Yes — Erasmus+ mobility allows semester exchanges. Full transfers between EU medical schools are also possible and increasingly common.
No — the degree certificate says only where you graduated. The transcript may show the credit source for transparency, but the awarded degree is from the graduating university.
